OK we are talking about a light bulb... so it comes down to two things... is it bright enough (not too bright) to do the job? Yes it is... I am using it to illuminate a picture and the quality of light adds to the image on the wall... so yes to the first question....
The second question is does it last? Well I run this lamp 24 hours a day 7 days a week and since I purchased it it has been on... now the other lamp I did not replace is the exact same brand and size lamp and it has been on for over 5 years... although it was purchased from a different store they are the same lamp and I expect this lamp to last just as long... The old lamps filament was broken during a move and did not just "burn out"....
I ordered from Amazon because in this case I could not find this lamp locally without a special order at twice the price.

This worked perfectly in my picture lights. These can be so expensive at your local ACE type stores. This was about a $1.00 less so I bought two just in case. It has a nice warm tone to it and matched the other light bulbs from another manufacturer as far as color. Will definitely buy more when the time comes.

The lights were perfect for my Ikea lamps. The lights fit and were not too bright. I was worried about the bulbs being broken during shipment but they were not.. Now all the babes will love my low light living room.
