They must be prototypes or something, because the moment I popped one of these into the socket it BLEW ME AWAY!
I used Lights of America for a few months, but none of them would last more than a month. I then changed to GE and was happy. I would have gone with GE again except for the pricing on this bulb. Well, we'll have to see how long it lasts but WOW at the performance! This bulb came on at FULL brightness instantly, giving incandescents a run for their money.
Not only that, but instead of the weak, watered down light you usually see from CFL's, this baby spit out so much bright, full room light that I swear we could see the future.
Now if we can get them to do this with LED's for the same price!
