If you don't like hard bluish light in your bedroom, this light is for you. It has nice warm yellowish color, just like your old incandescent lights.

Overall, I've been very satisfied with this bulb. I installed three of these about three years ago, and one of the three just burnt out, so the life-span has been pretty decent (the one that just died was being used in a bedroom shared by a 2-year old and 3-year old, and they both love to turn it on and off).
Pay attention to the color temperature. The three that I had previously purchased had the exact same model number, and were made by the same company, as the bulbs listed here, but were rated at 5100K. These bulbs are actually rated at 2850K, so it's important to look beyond the model number.

Its a light bulb with ridiculous shipping charges. Couldn't find it in any local store so suffered the price.
