If you don't like hard bluish light in your bedroom, this light is for you. It has nice warm yellowish color, just like your old incandescent lights.

I would NEVER CHOOSE to switch over to these purportedly energy-efficient lights. They have mercury in them and they are hard to find. They are "4-prong T6". You really can't use any other kind of light bulb if your fixtures are set up for them. These light bulbs were exactly what I had to get due to the fixtures having already been installed in my home. So GRATEFUL that Amazon had them. My kitchen & bathroom are once again ILLUMINATED!
