Be warned: this is a "warm white" fluorescent bulbJan 06, 2010

The description of this bulb does mention the color temperature (2850K), but most people are not going to be able to interpret what that means. Even having some professional training in film lighting, I didn't realize that this bulb would be a different color from the other circular bulb in my kitchen.
My other light has a "cool white" bulb, while this bulb is what is called "warm white" -- it has pinkish and orangeish overtones, rather than bluish and greenish ones. As a result, the two lights in my kitchen now are different colors. It would be helpful if the product description specified that this bulb is a warm white fluorescent.
The bulb is bright, and appears to be in working order. I just installed it, so I can't comment on its longevity.
