At last, an end to frequent globe changesJan 10, 2011

I was so tired of changing 1 or 2 globes (out of the 12)in the kitchen every few months. Two years ago, I bought 12 of these to replace the incandescent globes. I can't tell you how long they lasted, since they are all still in excellent working order!
I now get better light, with a huge (75%) energy cost reduction. The globes look better than the incandescents, and I'm not on a ladder all the time replacing them. Well worth the investment!
