Good Idea But It Needs WorkMar 22, 2008

I have been trying to replace all my conventional light bulbs with CF bulbs but had been stymied by the three way bulbs in my living rooms lamps. Then I found this 3-way CF light bulb and was excited. I bought two and one is still going strong. However, less than three months later, one burned out and, unlike its conventional counterpart, when one part burns out, the whole thing goes. That means that this was a VERY expensive light bulb for its short life.
