If you are putting this bulb in an anglepoise lamp, don't bother to replace this bulb it may fall out of the lamp. The engineering used to keep the bulb in place is deficient. The bulb fell out and broke right in front of me on my desk. I bought a replacement bulb and the same thing happened. I will never buy anything made by Ottlite again.
