Long life incandescent light bulbs use a thicker filament than standard light bulbs. A thicker filament burns longer and is substantially less susceptible to power spikes (the cause of most incandescent light bulb failures). However, the thicker the filament the less light will be produced. You can expect less light output from long life incandescent bulbs compared to standard incandescents. |

Since The government has outlawed light bulbs over 150 watts after January 1st 2012 we are stocking up on 150 watt and 200 watt bulbs. we love the light of incandescents and since we conserve in many other ways we do not consider this wasteful. These bulbs are beautiful and clear and made in America. The light they emit is very pleasant and warm so we would recommend this companies bulbs before The Government forces them to layoff workers

Had the first batch of thiese light bulds installed for over one year now and didn't have to change them again ever. Didn't have to use my ladder as much any more.

These bulbs are a good 150-watt, long neck, heavy-duty bulb. I use them in a recessed overhead light fixture that requires a long-neck bulb to reach all the way to the socket. Also, the heavy filiment gives a longer life to the bulb, therefore not having to change the bulb as frequently in a hard to reach application. Shipment arrived in about 5 days. The bulb is reasonably priced for this type of bulb, you may want to order several at a time to save on shipping charges per bulb (I believe I ordered 4 for about the same shipping charge as for 1). Definitely would recommend this product and shipper.

We purchased a case of 150w incandescent bulbs. The bulbs were shipped promptly and arrived in good order.
The bulbs were not available in retail stores. The entire purchase was satisfactory.
