130 volt halogen products work with standard 110-120 volt household systems. The advantage of 130 volt products is that they protect the halogen filaments from power spikes (the source of most bulb failures). 130 volt bulbs are slightly less bright than 120 volt, but offer substantially longer life (5000 hours on a 110-120 volt system). |

Needed this bulb for an under counter light fixture. Only place I could find it was on Amazon. Great service, bulb was shipped in a couple days.

I bought these to replace the bulbs for my under cabinet lights I purchased at Home Depot. I made sure they were G8 base and then purchased these on Amazon. When I received them I tried to install them into the light base but the prongs were super long and wouldn't work. So basically the 8 bulbs I purchased were useless.
I can't comment on the quality and longevity of the bulb as they weren't the right size bulbs. Back to Home Depot for the correct bulbs that only last for 2-3 months. Oh well.
