A word of caution to potential buyers. Please be sure these smaller bulbs are the ones you want. While the connectors were OK and the light output was OK, the bulb was significantly smaller than what I had as a replacement in our fiber optics Christmas tree. I was still able to use this bulb because of the connector and it's light output. However, I had to skip the use of the bulb retainer.

We bought this for a replacement bulb for a tabletop tree with optic lights. We searched around for a 10W halogen bulb in the stores but there were none to be found. Higher watts would be a fire hazard. we found this one on-line and and it worked fine. It was a bit expensive for such a little lightbulb but since it was not readily available elsewhere we paid about $8. Still cheaper than buying a new tree.
