5What I was looking for!Sep 12, 2007

I couldn't find this bulb at the local Big hardware store. It's for a lava lamp. So naturally I turned to the NET and surprise, surprise, there it is! The lava is flowing again!

1Very Poor ChoiceMay 23, 2012

I too went to the internet to find replacement bulbs and was delighted to find bulbs way cheaper than what I was paying at Lowes. Unfortunately cheaper means less for your money. In this case, I paid about half what Lowes would charge and only got two or three hours of use out of each bulb. Certainly no value at all in purchasing cheaper bulbs. In my opinion these bulbs aren't worth $0.25 in the $1.00 store.
Pay the Lowes price for quality bulbs.

1Very disappointingMay 22, 2012

Very disappointing. I purchased two bulbs for use in a grandfather clock to be used on a timer for 12 hours a day. They said they were long-lasting but both bulbs didn't even make it to 36 hours of use before they burned out. i definitely DO NOT recommend this product for the price.

5Great for a Lava LampDec 21, 2011

I got my 8 year-old a lava lamp, but she dropped it and broke a filament in the lamp. As another reviewer noted, the big-box stores don't carry these specialty bulbs. I got her one of these and the lava is flowing again. It takes about an hour for the lava to get warmed up enough to move, but once it's warm it does it's groovy magic.

5Should be a Good buy!Oct 30, 2011

Should last a long time.. GO LAVA LAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The bulb is small but delivers big results, try buying multiples for extended light usuage.
