One Amazing Light BulbMay 10, 2011
By J. Adams The last GE 38 Watt 2-D bulb lasted 10 years. Yes, 10 years! So try to find a fixture that uses this type of bulb and put it up. It *will* save you money in the long run. The bulb puts out plenty of light, so don't be put off by the low wattage (38 watts). Highly recommended.

I couldn't find this wattage at menards, home depot, or lowes, so I turned to amazon. I've had it for over 6 months now and it works great in my standing lamp.

Found my light bulb. I thought I was buying only 1 and received two. Plus I love this light. My favorite light wen working on detailed work. Great on my desk for writing checks or just office work. Then doing detailed work on my sewing its great for that fine detail work that I have. I do cross stitch, quilt and sew as well. This light is great for the fine detail work. Awesome.

By me This was what I needed. I had been unable to find it any place else. Grateful to have it,or I would have had to change the fixture.

The flourescent bulb model # I received fits one of my lamps but not the GE torchiere. It's model# could not be found. I had to get rid of the fixture and buy a new one.
