HONESTY is the best policy.May 04, 2010
By Marie S. Clark So I have had a handful of negative experiences on Ebay and Amazon. Overall they have been good and issues worked out. Unfortunately I have found a seller who likes to taunt his customers. I ordered an F15T8/AR/FS bulb. My husband is an electrician and helped me order the bulb online-- told me what to search for, etc. This bulb came up on Amazon... I ordered it. What did I get in the mail? A BLUE bulb-- an F15T8/AR/SA. Do you see the SA at the end of that code? Do you see it? Well, I was upset and emailed the seller of this bulb and he responded sarcastically that I sounded like a "lovely person" and he was "so happy he could help." I had mentioned that it was a pain in the a** to return items as I am a working individual and it's not easy getting back to the Post Office to return items. When I tried to USE the blue bulb, I could barely see my silver dollar fish swimming around the water. I had a hard time finding a bulb in the area in which I live which is why I ordered it offline to begin with. After a few back and forth emails with this seller, in which he implied that if I had been less "abusive" (I was NOT abusive!! I was upset and the only "bad" word I used was "a**"-- as in pain in the ---!) or hadn't ordered the wrong bulb to begin with, he might have refunded my money. Again-- I was never threatening OR abusive and I DID NOT ORDER THE WRONG BULB. THE MISTAKE IS ON THIS SELLER'S HANDS AND NOW HE WON'T REFUND MY MONEY BECAUSE I LEFT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK-- FEEDBACK THAT WAS RIGHTFULLY GIVEN BECAUSE HE TAUNTED ME WHEN I TOLD HIM IT WAS THE WRONG BULB. This is the only way that I know how to correct HIS "correction" on my negative feedback as he says that I was confused and ordered the wrong bulb by mistake. No... No I did not. My husband is a BRIGHT electrician and sitting beside me is the WRONG BULB because Light Bulbs Etc., Inc sent it to me. Overall, this company has good feedback, but to LIE and say that it was your customer who made the mistake when the proof (my order ID number listing an FS bulb) -- an SA bulb is sitting beside me-- On PRINCIPAL, I think other buyers should beware, that's all.
