By StarfishPrime Purchased 4 bulbs to replace 65W incandescent BR40 floods in the kitchen area. Installed easily. After 2 days 1 bulb burned out. 2 weeks later the other 3 are still working fine. I just purchased several more. Not great, but I suppose I can live with 75% good bulbs to get the light I want at this price.
The bulbs do get HOT. The kitchen is an open area, but I would imagine if these were in a confined area without airflow you would notice an increase in room temperature.
I plan on installing a dimmer soon and will let you know if that works out - bulbs claim to be fully dimmable.

By Shew Have a few installed. So far so good.
Replaced some Feit 90 watt bulbs. The family really likes the extra / white light.
The only negative is that they buzz a little when dimmed on high-end dimmer.
Will update if I note they don't last long enough.
Update: still going fine.

I purchased two (2) Bulbrite Halogen BR-40 Flood 120W bulbs for about $13. The first one failed in two weeks. The second bulb also only lasted two weeks. I aked Amazon for a refund.
