good - not blue i expectedDec 04, 2011

overall, these are great lights. easy to use and install, provide a good amount of light, good for the landscaping in my front yard, etc. However, these bulbs use a filtering lenses to create the color -- and it creates an effect where the color isn't quite the best. Specifically, the lenses of the bulb looks exactly like the picture -- but the color of blue you get out IS NOT the same color as the lenses. The light that is emitted is much closer to a cyan-turqoise color than a standard blue. It was a nice color and my finace liked it a lot -- but I was looking for a much deeper blue color, like what you see in the picture.
