yes this is just what i was looking for used to have them in stores when i was younger but can't finde them around any more, i found this store online and now i finaly got me bulbs that i like ....s soft abber light elumanate the rooms in my house now just how i like it notto bright not to dimm. perrfect.

I bought this for a small lamp from the 1930's or so that is used more like a night light than anything else. This bulb does a great job of providing a soft glow in the room without being too obtrusive.

Perfect bulbs for an "old fashioned" glow!Aug 08, 2012

Puchased these bulbs to use with 2 "frosted glass" - "Uplight" lights for either side of our big screen TV. They are the perfect wattage and color to add a nice soft glow to the room without interfering with watching the TV. Makes for a neat 1920's atmosphere with the Amber color. Very nice product!
