we're using this in our small kitchen and it gives off a nice, soft light. elegant really. makes our kitchen look gorgeous at night, and gives off just enough light to see when you're going in for a midnight snack

I originally purchased this nightlight from either Target or Walmart, I can't remember. I bought two of them, and they lasted a couple years before they stopped working (yes I made sure it wasn't just a burned-out bulb or a bad outlet). However, I bought them again when I found them on Amazon, because I really hate ugly nightlights. I have a very fashionable house, which this night light looks really good in. I like to have nightlights in various rooms so I can navigate the hallways and main rooms at night without having to turn all the lights on, if I'm just passing through. Hopefully these may last more than a couple years, but even if they don't, they're cheap, and I haven't found anything cuter anywhere else!

If you're looking for a subtle, grown-up night light, you've found the right item. We needed a night light for finding our way to the rocking chair to feed our newborn during night feeds, and this does the trick. Not too bright, plugs in flush to the wall, and is of moderate quality. I do appreciate that even after being plugged in for 9+ hours, the casing is not "hot", but warm. Plugs in to turn "on", unplug to turn "off".

I bought this nightlight a couple years ago at a local box store. The light is not very bright - but it IS a nightlite. Sometimes I am guilty of buying form over substance, but in this case - it is spot on. works great- and looks great. I recommend it - if this is your style.

It took several days before the automatic sensor kicked in. For a few days the lights just stayed on all the time. That would have shortened the life of the bulb; but then it changed and now they function as advertised. They look almost theatrical. I purchased four and they are above the counters and add a great mood to my rather plain kitchen! I like them so much I may double my order in case of future failure - they look that good!
