Classy Little Night LightFeb 01, 2011

I recently remodeled my bathroom. I didn't want just any old night light. I wanted something attractive, but not too feminine. This light looks great. It gives off a soft light, but plenty of light for the middle of the night. My only complaint is that the sensor doesn't shut the light off when the other lights are on. It probably has to do with its location in the room. It's a great little light.

The night light seems to appear smaller in the pics., but it is still a pretty night light with a warm glow.

We bought two of these lights a year ago. Haven't yet had to replace the bulbs. Their design adds a bit of panache to our tres ordinare ranch house.

I read the reviews where it was pointed out that this item does not show up in the lovely amber color as it's depicted. Overlooked that. Didn't care much about it. The shape is as pictured. I bought this because it was supposed to go off and on at dusk and dawn, seemingly from a light sensor, also as pictured. The trouble is the design. There is an interior light fixture that fits into the outer mold. The light sensor does not "see" through the outer mold's window, so it never ever goes off. Sad.

I got this for our downstairs guest bathroom and it has been the perfect little addition! The amount of light it gives off is just right for the room & you can easily see what you're doing. A nice bonus is that it creates a beautiful, attractive glow and I've gotten many compliments on it. The sensor does work because it goes off when there's adequate lighting. However, the room doesn't get a lot of light during the day so I unplug it in the mornings, unless we'll be home or have company. The bulb has never gotten too hot and it's a very nice looking, well contructed nightlight. At some point I'm going to buy a couple more for our hallways because this one has worked out so well. Definitely recommend!
