This little night light has been in our windowless bathroom for nine years and eleven months, faithfully coming on each time we enter (or pass by within "eyesight" of it) - maybe fifty times a day, since it is by the children's playroom and also the kitchen and living room. It is an excellent product!

This is basically an average-sized night light, so if you need some soft light when entering a dark basement or garage (which is what we use ours for) then this will work well for you. It allows us to walk through the basement and the garage (which have no windows) without needing to turn on additional lights...we do make sure never to have anything in the way that we would trip on, so if your eyesight is not that good in dimly lit rooms then this may not be suitable for you. However, it would be great if the light were a bit brigter. The price is high, if you're looking to buy more than one. We've had them both for over a year and they work without any problems. We're even going to buy a couple more for the hallway, kids' rooms and bathroom, so they can walk to the bathroom without having to walk in the dark and will help them to find the light switch in the bathroom. Overall a good product.
