I ordered a couple of these bulbs for I had a specific use for a soft orange light. Other bulbs I have seen in stores that claim they are orange are often of the transparent or amber variety. Not these babies, they are definitely the real thing. They are a solid orange color and give off a soft orange glow. At 25 watts they are not at all bright, but if you have a use for a light that is very soft and gives off a nice glow, or, just have a specific use for a real orange light trust me, these are your bulbs....Recommended
